| Requirements and Responsibilities For Clinical Research Project Management Manager, Sr. |
| Leads and manages a team of clinical research project managers. Oversees and monitors project plans to ensure projects are timely, accurate, and produce precise results. Develops and implements clinical research guidelines, processes, and procedures. Establishes data collection and reporting processes to capture key metrics of project activities against performance indicators and key deliverables. Provides solutions to potential risks/issues and facilitates actions to keep projects on track. Ensures the project is planned and conducted in accordance with all applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and good clinical practices (GCP). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. |
