Requirements and Responsibilities For Radiology Aide
Assists radiologic technologists and department supervisors by performing a variety of administrative and patient care activities. Receives and transports patients, and answers questions regarding procedures. Prepares the imaging room and equipment for x-ray examinations and assists technologist with procedures as needed. Performs related clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience.
