| Requirements and Responsibilities For SVP of Channel Marketing |
| Provides leadership and oversight to the third-party or channel marketing activities of a company's products and services. Plans and designs channel-specific marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and awareness and reach new markets. Evaluates and improves materials to assist channel partners with onboarding, training, and product support to develop effective relationships and align marketing efforts. Develops marketing budgets and sales, revenue, and profitability goals for channel marketing activities. Develops high-level partnership strategies, product marketing roadmaps, and campaign timelines and schedules. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Has acquired the business acumen and leadership experience to become a top function or division head. |
