| Requirements and Responsibilities For SVP of International Operations |
| Oversees all aspects of an organization's international operations and activities. Responsible for planning and directing all activities, policies, and development of business units in other countries. Develops strategies that align with corporate goals and expand international presence. Implements operational processes to meet the needs of the business, produce sustainable growth, and minimize risk. Evaluates operational performance results against organizational goals. Develops operating budgets and monitors resource allocation. Maintains expert knowledge of international customs, laws, and regulations. Audits operations to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes/implements overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. Typically requires 10+ years of progressive leadership experience. Has extensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
