| Requirements and Responsibilities For Software Quality Assurance Tester IV |
| Tests the most complex features of new software releases using pre-defined test plans and scripts to identify defects. Follows uniform testing procedures. Documents results and uses designated systems and tools to track outcomes. Performs follow-up rounds of testing as needed. May train new testers and coordinate resources for the team. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. Independently performs a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. Has gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job. Typically requires 5-7 years of related experience. |
