| Requirements and Responsibilities For Clinic Manager I |
| Administers the daily operations of a medical clinic staffed by 25 physicians or less. Prepares and monitors budgets, purchases equipment and supplies, oversees maintenance of the facility. Responsible for hiring and training office and nursing support staff. Establishes and oversees billing practices. May be responsible for contracts or negotiations with insurance providers. This is an administrative non-physician role. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. |
