| Requirements and Responsibilities For Control & Instrument Technician I |
| Supports the engineering design, development, implementation, and maintenance of instrument/electrical control systems. Provides setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical control systems and prototypes. Assists with testing of systems, devices, and instruments. Uses established methods to measure performance results and document testing procedures. Maintains the inventory of supplies and tools used for testing and maintenance. Typically requires an associate degree in in a technical field. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. May require 0-1 year of general work experience. |
