Requirements and Responsibilities For Environmental & Employee Safety Technician
Supports the auditing and documentation of employee workplace conditions to ensure regulatory compliance. Conducts daily checks and basic measures to document and track employee working conditions. Ensures safety policies and controls are followed and monitors inventory of protective equipment and supplies to ensure availability. Updates and maintains employee handbooks, manuals, and other resources pertaining to environmental hazards and workplace safety. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
