Requirements and Responsibilities For Golf Greenskeeper
Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course. Maintains golf course conditions including mowing greens, fairways, and roughs. Performs bunker raking, edging, and general course setup. May be responsible for planting flowers and trees, laying sod, and seeding turf. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
