| Requirements and Responsibilities For Installation & Maintenance Technician Director |
| Directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. |
