| Requirements and Responsibilities For Loan Review Manager |
| Manages the loan review function to ensure loans are in compliance with bank lending policies and risk guidelines. Oversees the evaluation of credit risk and adherence to lending policies and regulatory standards. Develops and implements review methodologies, schedules, and reporting frameworks to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency. Reviews and approves findings, recommendations, and risk ratings prepared by staff. Coordinates with senior leadership and regulatory bodies regarding loan quality assessments. Leads and mentors a team of loan review professionals to ensure effective performance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
