Requirements and Responsibilities For Pension Administrator
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of retirement and pension plans. Serves as the main point of contact for participant questions, calculates and distributes benefits to retirees, and maintains accurate, up-to-date records of participant contributions and account changes. Ensures funds are compliant with all applicable government regulations. May prepare and file required annual documents. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience.
