| Requirements and Responsibilities For Provider Systems Analyst |
| Implements and administers a network's database systems to track and maintain healthcare provider data. Coordinates provider enrollment and maintains directories for contracted organizations. Monitors system performance and conducts routine testing to ensure adequate functionality and accuracy of data. Generates standard reports for management to understand system performance and identify provider trends. Reviews and validates provider data for input into database system to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. Acts as the primary point of contact for provider inquiries, tracks and resolves issues, and provides support and resources to keep providers up to date. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience. |
