Requirements and Responsibilities For Tax Attorney IV |
Responsible for advising individuals and/or businesses on tax planning strategies. Assists in navigating complex tax codes and minimizing tax liabilities. Prepares legal documents and offers counsel on the impact of tax laws. May act as an organization's or individual's representation in dealing with local, state, and federal tax agencies. Stays current on the latest changes in federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Requires a JD. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Typically requires 7+ years of related experience. |
