Requirements and Responsibilities For Margin Clerk I
Compiles data and determines customer margin in stock purchased. Determines brokerage fees and notifies supervisor when customer margin is less than government regulations or brokerage firm requirements. Researches customer margin account problems using customer account information and transaction records. May require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
