| Requirements and Responsibilities For Small Business Administration (SBA) Banking Manager |
| Manages the team responsible for developing and structuring Small Business Administration (SBA) loans to eligible business customers. Monitors the collection of customer financial information and reviews loan proposals to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and SBA guidelines. Builds working relationships and open communication with customers to clearly understand the customer's ongoing business needs. Stays current on SBA products, rules, and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
