| Requirements and Responsibilities For Assistant Branch Manager I |
| Assists the branch manager in the daily operations of a retail banking branch office. Performs routine branch opening, closing, customer service, and other operational tasks and activities. Assumes responsibility for the branch office during the manager's absence. Assists in training and managing staff to meet financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals for the branch. Monitors daily activities and metrics to ensure that branch operations adhere to company policies and procedures. Maintains the required security, operational, and service quality standards. Typically has completed a bank management training program. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a branch manager. Supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. |
