| Requirements and Responsibilities For Assistant Branch Manager II |
| Assists the branch manager in the daily operations of a retail banking branch office. Performs routine branch opening, closing, customer service, and other operational tasks and activities. Assumes responsibility for the branch office during the manager's absence. Assists in training and managing staff to meet financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals for the branch. Monitors daily activities and metrics to ensure that branch operations adhere to company policies and procedures. Maintains the required security, operational, and service quality standards. Typically has completed a bank management training program. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a branch manager. Supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. |
