| Requirements and Responsibilities For Branch Sales Manager - Licensed |
| Manages and oversees the branch's sales efforts. Identifies, implements, and manages sales strategies to increase branch revenue through new business acquisition and client retention. Builds and maintains customer relationships, including cross-selling products and supporting customer retention. Maintains detailed knowledge of the current financial product offerings. Identifies gaps in financial service or product offerings and makes recommendations for improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires passing the FINRA SIE, either the Series 7 or Series 6 as well as the Series 63, Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examinations, and obtaining the applicable state-level license to sell securities. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
