| Requirements and Responsibilities For Dean - Career Development |
| Manages the administrative and operational functions of the career development program. Develops strategic initiatives and participates in long-term planning and policy setting. Develops and implements strategic initiatives to support student and graduate job placement. Designs various career development programs, workshops, and events to help students with resume writing, interviewing skills, and job searching. Requires an advanced degree. Typically reports to senior management. Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
