| Requirements and Responsibilities For Insurance Advertising Compliance Manager |
| Manages the team responsible for reviewing and approving insurance marketing and advertising materials to ensure compliance with applicable state insurance regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Acts as the liaison between the insurance company and state agencies regarding inquiries. Identifies potential compliance gaps in advertising materials and makes recommendations. Acts as a subject matter expert for internal teams and provides training on compliant practices. Tracks changes in insurance laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes. |
