| Requirements and Responsibilities For Regulatory & Compliance Attorney V |
| Responsible for providing legal advice regarding the laws, regulations, and industry standards that affect business operations. Ensures the organization operates ethically and legally. Develops and implements compliance programs, conducts assessments, and provides legal guidance to minimize risks and potential legal issues. May represent the organization during regulatory investigations and/or litigation. Requires a JD. Requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager. Works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Typically requires 10+ years of related experience. |
