| Requirements and Responsibilities For VP of Asset Management |
| Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's asset management policies, objectives, and initiatives. Develops asset strategies that increase revenue and ensure a high rate of return on investments. Monitors asset performance and conditions and communicates status with senior leaders. Negotiates with vendors to ensure the quality, availability, and adequate quantity of assets and ensure alignment with budgets. Develops capital and operational budgets for asset maintenance, investments, and renewals. Ensures asset management services consistently meet and support the organization's vision and investment goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function. |
